My Favorite Book Covers

Today, I randomly decided to reorganize my bookshelves. I mean, what else is there to do when I’m bored? Anywho, I was admiring a bunch of book covers and decided to make a post about the prettiest covers, in my opinion.

Lightbringer (The Empirium Trilogy #3) by Claire Legrand

I don’t own this book and I’m not even caught up in the series. I’ve only read the first book, Furyborn, and I can’t get myself to read the next book. However, this cover is so dang pretty. There is something so satisfying about a true white book cover, especially fantasy books.

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

All sides of this book is a work of art. The cover is beautiful and the back is Atticus, Scout, and Jem holding hands, and there are gold sprayed endings. If you aren’t convinced of the beauty of this book yet, I don’t know what else to tell you.

House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City #1) by Sarah J. Maas

I love Sarah J. Maas and all of her books, but none of the covers stand out to me, except this one (and the collector’s edition of A Court of Thorns and Roses, but I couldn’t find a good picture of it). The cover is eye-catching, but what makes it 10 times better is all of the Easter eggs hidden in the red. The inside of the book is breathtaking as well.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I own Fangirl in the mint cover, but I desperately need this book in this yellow cover (or either of the pink covers). This is more about the color of the cover than what is actually on the cover. I can’t explain why I find these much more pretty than the mint version, but I do. Maybe one day I will end up spending money on a book I already own just because of what it looks like…

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

I couldn’t finish this book and I’m not much of a fan of anything written by Marissa Meyer, but after seeing this cover, I’ve debated buying the book again. It would be crazy, which is why I haven’t done it yet, but the new covers of all of the books in The Lunar Chronicles are gorgeous.

Little Women by Louisa May Allcott

All of the books in this collection of classics by Penguin Random House are beautiful, especially Little Women. I will only read this book or the other three in the collection if it comes from Penguin Random House.
